Software QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, validating APIs, and collaborating with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software. The ideal candidate should have experience with testing tools, SQL, defect tracking systems, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate responses, status codes, and data accuracy.
• Write SQL queries to verify database records and identify data inconsistencies.
• Report, track, and retest defects using Jira while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

1. Execute a minimum of 50 test cases per release cycle.
2. Maintain at least 95% test execution coverage for critical features.
3. Identify and document software defects with clear reproduction steps.
4. Complete regression testing within the agreed release timeline.
5. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
